COURTHOUSE — Virginia Beach is in the process of transitioning to a new government website at virginiabeach.gov, though the older city site, www.vbgov.com, is still operational and will remain up until the change is complete.
The new municipal website is designed with a cleaner look, better navigation and new tools, according to a statement from the city released online.
The change is part of a phased project with new pages for city departments, and content is in the process of migrating to the new site, according to the city.
For the time being, The Independent News will continue in news and feature stories to use the www.vbgov.com address when pointing readers toward links to municipal information.
