COURTHOUSE — The city is looking for established farmers to lease city-owned land to grow agricultural crops.
There are six sections available for potential lease, and the city seeks initial five-year terms between 2017 and 2021.
The city requires proposals to be delivered by 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14. However, no faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted.

► The School Farm property off Indian River Road, consisting of approximately seven acres. [PWFM-17-0102].
► Crossroads Farm, consisting of four parcels totaling nearly 65 acres off Salem and North Landing roads [PWFM-17-0104].
► Belle Farm, consisting of 55 acres adjacent to Landstown Road [PWFM-17-0105].
► Landstown Farm, a nine acre parcel at 2887 Landstown Road [PWFM-17-0106].
► The Salem Farm parcel of six acres at 2508 Salem Road [PWFM-17-0107].
► And Ballfield Farm, a 45 acre parcel off Landstown Road between the Virginia Beach Sportsplex and Virginia Beach National Golf Course [PWFM-17-0108].
