LANDSTOWN — Young people came face to face with livestock last month during the Virginia Beach Farmers Market’s annual Harvest Fair and Craft Show at the market where Princess Anne and Dam Neck roads meet.
The 4-H Livestock Club showed off two animals, a heifer and a goat, both reddish brown. As Jenny McPherson, the city’s agricultural reserve program coordinator, noted:
“They’re both color-coordinated. We didn’t plan that.”
