THE INDEPENDENT NEWS
PUNGO – The second episode of PAINCast, an occasional podcast of The Independent News, features Toni Guagenti, author of a 100 Things to Do in Virginia Beach Before You Die.
Guagenti serves as media manager for Mayor Will Sessoms and has worked with Norfolk Mayor Ken Alexander, too.
Her book includes recommendations from southern Virginia Beach, such as the hamburger at Monk’s Place, a sunrise at Sandbridge and the Pungo Strawberry Festival. Guagenti discusses a number of spots, including the very first place she thought about for the book.
