OCEANFRONT — The work at the intersection of 19th Street and Cypress Avenue, a new piece of public art within the ViBe Creative District, is a mural on the intersection pavement, a rainbow with cardinals —a beautiful work designed by a local artist and painted by volunteers this past month.
Chesapeake artist Allison Termine’s design was choosen to represent welcoming all people within the city and to celebrate the creative spirit embodied by the district.
Artist Allison Termine, 38, of Chesapeake designed the work. She is also the librarian at the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk.
