VIRGINIA BEACH — Coastal Cattle, a family Hereford farm, celebrated its new Beef Shack retail shop at 2337 Vaughan Road with a grand opening on Saturday, Feb. 9.

“It’s our version of a produce stand,” farmer Billy Vaughan said of the shack, which had a busy day of folks visiting to buy meat inside and watch the cattle in an adjacent field.

Bernadette Vaughan, busy inside the shack, said they had opened that week and had customers in regularly. “It’s been really good.”
