In October, help feed hungry Virginia Beach students through Beach Bags

COURTHOUSE – The city schools division is hosting  two food drives in October to support the Beach Bags program, which provides meals to students who don’t have enough to eat.

The program is supported by community members and businesses, the division said in a statement released to the press. 

Program volunteers will gather donations at two locations this coming month:

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at Landstown Commons Shopping Center.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, at Pembroke Mall in the Kohl’s parking lot behind Walgreens.
