Poetry: “Strawberry Festival” by Karalynn Natalie Kennedy

BY KAROLYN NATALIE KENNEDY

Each year when it’s May

That’s what I say.

It’s a good deal

to ride the ferris wheel.

And I like to dream

about eating ice cream.

And I hear a band

all over the land.

So go take a ride

and enjoy the outside.

So if you want to have fun, go

over to Pungo.

Kennedy, 6, lives in Christopher Farms and is a kindergarten student at Christopher Farms Elementary School. In addition to school, she likes playing with friends, going to Busch Gardens, and Shopkins toys.
