COURTHOUSE — The city will hold a meeting in Creeds tonight to seek public comment and assessment of the proposed update to the comprehensive plan, a policy document on development, traffic and environmental issues, among other topics.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 25, at the Creeds Ruritan Community Complex, 1057 Princess Anne Road, according to an announcement released by the city.

Another meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th Street.

Citizens can also use a digital application called “Speak Up! VB” to review 54 of the document’s policy recommendations.

The application can be found via vbgov.com/mobile-apps, and it can be downloaded to a mobile device through either Apple’s App Store or Google Play, according to the city.

The full plan is available for review at vbgov.com/2016compplan.
