CREEDS – The city is asking farmers and property owners to stop by the Creeds Ruritan Barn between April 27-29 and identify ditches and drainage areas on a series of maps that will be on display, City Councilmember Barbara Henley said this week.

Stormwater engineering personnel will be on hand to record the information, which will help the city understand runoff issues in the area.

“They’re the experts,” Henley said of locals who know the land well, particularly farmers.

On Monday and Wednesday, city personnel will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Tuesday, the hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The location is 1057 Princess Anne Road.
