COURTHOUSE – Pinwheels decorate the grass between Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and Princess Anne Road to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The volunteer organization helps advocate for children involved in such cases. The display is part of the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign.

More than 1,000 substantiated cases of child abuse or neglect happen each year in the city, according to the organization.
